## Synopsis

Good Witch (2015-2021) is a Hallmark Channel small town fantasy drama series created by Sue Tenney. Catherine Bell plays Cassie Nightingale, the enchantress of the fictional town of Middleton, who lives with her young teenage daughter Grace (Bailee Madison) and uses her intuition and charm to smooth over the troubles of her neighbors. Her engine is the arrival of widowed Dr. Sam Radford (James Denton) and his son Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond), New York transplants who settle beside the family's Grey House and clash with Cassie over how the town should run. Each season is built from self-contained weekly stories about town events, friendships and everyday dilemmas, threaded with a slow building romance between Cassie and Sam and a loose serialized arc about family and belonging. Running seven seasons with around sixty-eight episodes, the series is set in a present-day American small town with autumn festivals, a bakery, a tea shop and a grand old house at its heart. Its tone is gentle, wholesome and sweetly magical, with a warm comforting register and little real danger. Fans of Bewitched, Pushing Daisies and Hallmark's holiday romances will find the same cozy charm and small town heart.
