## Synopsis

The Adventures of Puss in Boots (2015-2018) is an American Netflix-original animated family adventure series created by Doug Langdale for Netflix, produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. Eric Bauza voices the title character, the vain, charming, swashbuckling cat who loves a good sword fight and a bowl of milk, while Jayma Mays voices Dulcinea and Joshua Rush voices Toby, with Candi Milo as Kid Pickles and Grey DeLisle as Sphinx rounding out the principal cast. Each half-hour episode delivers a self-contained quest or caper set in a fantastical computer-animated fairy tale world full of exotic locations, mystical tales, and legendary treasures that the heroes must chase or defend. The engine is simple and playful: Puss wants glory, adventure, and a legendary prize, and the mix of rivals, villains, and his own bravado keeps getting in the way. The series runs six seasons and seventy-seven episodes as a light, episodic cartoon, a family adventure built around bold action, slapstick humor, and affectionate banter. Its tone is breezy, joyful, and comforting, with a wink toward swashbuckling tradition. Fans of Shrek, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Dragon Tales will find similar playful family adventure energy here.
