## Synopsis

Marvel's Daredevil (2015-2018) is a American streaming superhero crime drama series created by Drew Goddard for Netflix, the first Marvel series produced for the streaming service. Charlie Cox plays Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer whose heightened senses fuel his nightly vigilante work as Daredevil, while Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson play his law partner Foggy Nelson and investigator Karen Page. Vincent D'Onofrio plays Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, a crime boss whose ambitions reshape the city and pull Matt into an escalating war for Hell's Kitchen. Across three seasons of thirteen episodes each, the show is built as one continuing story in which each episode grinds forward through courtroom pressure, street brawls and back-alley intrigue. Set in present day New York City, its tone is gritty, brooding and physically intense, with long, carefully choreographed fight sequences grounding its superhero premise in human pain and moral compromise. Fans of Breaking Bad, The Boys and Jessica Jones will find resonance in its blend of urban crime, flawed heroism and corrupt power. The series was canceled after its third season, leaving its central story unfinished.
