## Synopsis

K.C. Undercover (2015-2018) is an American Disney Channel family sitcom with spy-adventure elements, created by Corinne Marshall and produced by It's a Laugh Productions. Zendaya stars as K.C. Cooper, a high school math whiz and karate black belt who learns her parents are operatives in a secret government agency called The Organization. Craig and Kira Cooper, played by Kadeem Hardison and Tammy Townsend, recruit her into the work, and K.C. must learn the tradecraft while keeping the new job hidden from her best friend Marisa Miller (Veronica Dunne). The engine of each episode is a gap between ordinary family life and dangerous covert assignments: a school deadline collides with a mission, a sibling stumbles into a secret, and the household has to balance homework, chores and gadgets. Ernie (Kamil McFadden) and Judy (Trinitee), the younger siblings, add comic energy, and Judy is a humanoid robot. The show runs across three seasons and seventy-five episodes of roughly twenty-four minutes each, with a light, breezy and warm tone. Its mix of gadget-driven action, sitcom household bickering and gentle moral lessons will appeal to viewers who enjoy the kid-friendly spy comedy of Spy Kids and the family sitcom sensibility of Wizards of Waverly Place.
