## Synopsis

Those Who Kill (2014) is an American crime thriller series created by Glen Morgan for A&E and Lifetime Movies. Chloë Sevigny plays Catherine Jensen, a recently promoted homicide detective who refuses to let go of the disappearance of her brother. She teams up with forensic psychologist Thomas Schaeffer, played by James D'Arcy, whose insight into the minds of killers becomes essential to every new case. Across a single season of ten episodes, the engine of the show is the hunt itself: each episode builds a grim investigation around a serial killer, with crime scene evidence, interrogations, and the psychological cat-and-mouse that comes with profiling offenders. Beneath the case of the week, a slower personal thread pulls Catherine back toward the unanswered question of her brother's fate. The tone is tense, bleak and procedural, with an unsettling atmosphere of dread that rarely lets up. Fans of The Killing, Mindhunter and The Fall will find resonance in its dark urban settings, its troubled detective, and its focus on the people who hunt monsters as much as the monsters themselves. Its single season was canceled, so the central mystery is left open.
