## Synopsis

The Simulators (2008-2009) is a Mexican adventure comedy-drama series produced for Canal 5, a remake of the Argentine series of the same name. Across two seasons and 31 episodes of roughly 45 minutes each, the show follows a group of four partners, among them López (Alejandro Calva), Medina (Rubén Zamora), Vargas (Arath de la Torre) and Santos (Tony Dalton), who run advanced simulation operations. Each episode centers on a common problem that the team must rehearse and resolve through their simulations before stepping into the real world, so the engine is ingenuity under pressure and the friction of colleagues with different temperaments. The storytelling mixes case-driven action with light humor and warm camaraderie, giving the series a breezy, accessible register. Its setting is a contemporary Mexican milieu rather than a distant future, and its telenovela-tinged sensibility keeps personal relationships close to the surface. Viewers who enjoy team-based adventure in the vein of Mission: Impossible or the light procedural format of Hunter will find a familiar, friendly pleasure here.
