## Synopsis

Just Be Happy (2015) is a Turkish family comedy series created for atv, running for a single season of seven episodes, each about ninety minutes long. Set in an unknown Istanbul neighborhood called Station, the series follows a cast of neighbors whose romances, friendships and daily frictions knit the district together. Can, played by Ali Atay, sits at the center of the story alongside Zeynep (Aslı Enver), Babür (Ertan Saban), Güneş (Öner Erkan) and Şerife (Tülay Bursa), with Ayşe (Seda Türkmen) and Devrem (Fırat Albayram) rounding out the ensemble. Each episode moves through small social situations, amorous misunderstandings and the warmth of shared streets, shops and kitchens, so the engine is simply people wanting to be happy while their neighbors keep getting in the way. The format is a continuing but loosely structured comedy rather than a procedural, and the single season gives it the feel of a short limited run. Its tone is gentle, sincere and breezy, with a comforting, nostalgic pull toward community. Fans of Friends, Cheers and Bir Demet Tatlı will find resonance in its ensemble warmth and romantic neighborhood comedy, and the show offers an easy, uncomplicated viewing experience for a wide audience.
