## Synopsis

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016-2022) is an American superhero science fiction series created by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Phil Klemmer for The CW. Time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) gathers a disparate crew of heroes and villains, including Sara Lance, also known as White Canary (Caity Lotz), Dr. Martin Stein of Firestorm (Victor Garber), and Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan), to confront an immortal threat that endangers the planet and the whole of time. The engine of the show is the team's constant mission-of-the-week travel through different eras, where every episode asks whether a ragtag group of reluctant allies can outmaneuver a larger danger while they bicker and bond. Across seven seasons it plays as a serialized superhero adventure spun off from the Arrowverse, built on comic book roots and a rotating roster of characters. Its tone starts gritty and serious, then grows increasingly tongue-in-cheek, mixing action with comedy and warm camaraderie. Fans of Arrow, Doctor Who and Timeless will find resonance in its blend of time travel, team dynamics and heroic spectacle. The series was canceled after its seventh season.
