## Synopsis

90210 (2008-2013) is an American teen drama series created by Rob Thomas, Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah for The CW. Shenae Grimes-Beech plays Annie Wilson and Tristan Mack Wilds plays her brother Dixon, two newcomers who arrive in Beverly Hills when their father Harry Wilson (Rob Estes) moves the family back into his childhood home to care for his mother, former actress Tabitha Wilson (Jessica Walter), whose drinking problem strains everyone. At West Beverly Hills High School, the siblings chase friendships and romances with classmates including AnnaLynne McCord as Naomi Clark and Jessica Stroup as Erin Silver, while trying to honor the expectations their parents set for them. The engine of the show is the tension between teenage ambition and family obligation, played out through school dances, social rivalries and the constant pull of affluent Los Angeles status. Across five seasons and more than a hundred episodes, the series unfolds as a serialized soap with a case-of-the-week texture rarely present. Its tone is glossy and melodramatic, mixing breezy high school energy with heavier domestic moments. Fans of Beverly Hills, 90210, The O.C. and Gossip Girl will find familiar resonance in its polished wealthy setting and romantic entanglements.
