## Synopsis

Dragon Ball Super (2015-2018) is a Japanese animated shonen action series produced by Toei Animation for Fuji TV, continuing the Dragon Ball Z saga. Saiyan hero Goku (voiced by Masako Nozawa) has settled into a quiet life as a radish farmer after defeating Majin Buu, but his peace ends when the powerful God of Destruction Beerus (Koichi Yamadera) awakens to a prophecy of his own demise and sets out to find the Saiyan God. Alongside Vegeta (Ryo Horikawa), Bulma (Hiromi Tsuru) and Trunks (Takeshi Kusao), Goku is pulled into a run of escalating contests against ever more formidable opponents across many worlds. The single 131-episode season is one continuing story built from long battle sequences, tournament arcs and comic detours, with frequent gags softening the stakes. Its tone is exuberant and playful, with bright, kinetic fight choreography and a steady sense of cosmic scale. Fans of Dragon Ball Z, One Punch Man and Hunter x Hunter will find resonance in its blend of martial arts spectacle and light comedy.
