## Synopsis

Mask (2015) is a South Korean melodrama series created for SBS, a single-season k-drama spanning twenty episodes. Byun Ji-sook (Soo Ae) is squeezed by her father's private loan and begins living as Seo Eun-ha, a wealthy woman who looks just like her. Her quiet scheme is complicated by Choi Min-Woo (Ju Ji-hoon), a corporate heir raised to suppress his feelings for the sake of his family's company. Their romance grows through encounters within the chaebol world, where family loyalty, secret histories and status threaten every choice. Episodes build on hidden identities, cohabitation tension and the constant risk of exposure, giving the series a wounded, intimate emotional register. Its tones are melancholic and melodramatic, with yearning and moral strain at the center. Fans of Descendants of the Sun and Boys Over Flowers will find resonance in its blend of class-divided romance and identity deception. Set in contemporary Seoul, the story unfolds among wealthy families and the modest world Ji-sook is trying to protect. The series is grounded in domestic and corporate spaces, with a focus on relationships rather than spectacle.
