## Synopsis

Lost in Oz (2015-2018) is an American animated family fantasy series created by Jared Mark, Darin Mark, Abram Makowka and Mark D. Warshaw for Prime Video. Loosely based on L. Frank Baum's Oz books, it follows twelve-year-old Dorothy Gale, voiced by Landry Bender, who finds her mother's mysterious journal in Kansas and is transported with her dog Toto into a bustling, modern Emerald City. Her goal is simple and urgent: get back home. To do it she sets out across Oz with West, a young witch, and Ojo, a giant Munchkin, searching for the magic she needs while the land faces its own magical crisis. Each adventure moves briskly through colorful 3D animated landscapes, mixing gentle peril with playful humor and a light, friendly tone. Its episodes are self-contained enough for young viewers to follow easily, yet the overarching quest gives the single season a steady forward pull. Fans of Dorothy's classic journey, along with viewers who enjoy family-friendly fantasy like Wander Over Yonder and Gravity Falls, will find the same mix of whimsy and wonder here. It is an easygoing watch for children and parents who enjoy an imaginative trip through a familiar world made new.
