## Synopsis

Transformers: Robots In Disguise (2015-2017) is an American animated science fiction action series created for Cartoon Network, produced by Hasbro Studios. Voiced by Will Friedle as the scout Bumblebee, the show follows a leader who is summoned back to Earth to hunt several of Cybertron's most wanted Decepticons after they escape from a crashed prison ship. Khary Payton voices the bombastic Dinobot Grimlock, Darren Criss voices the rebellious Sideswipe, and Mitchell Whitfield voices Fixit, a hyperactive Mini-Con with faulty wiring. Strongarm, an Elite Guard cadet voiced by Constance Zimmer, rounds out the young team. Each episode is a brisk, colorful action adventure built around vehicle transformations, robot battles and quick banter, while the larger storyline of an escaped villain menace carries across four seasons. The series is a kid-friendly mecha romp with a playful, energetic tone, rooted in the Transformers toy franchise and fans of Transformers: Animated, Voltron: Legendary Defender and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will find a similar mix of toy-born spectacle and team camaraderie. Its approach is breezy and accessible, offering bright action and light humor for young viewers and nostalgic franchise fans alike.
