## Synopsis

I Dare You to Leave (2015-2016) is a Mexican telenovela created by Eric Vonn for Las Estrellas, produced by Televisa. Camila Sodi plays Paulina Murat and Valentina Murat, whose love for Adrian Olmedo, played by Osvaldo Benavides, is tested by the power and obsession that surround them. The engine of the series is the couple's determination to stay together against families and rivals who want to control them, with each episode pushing the lovers further into danger and emotional sacrifice. Leticia Calderon as Ines Murat and Arturo Peniche as Gonzalo Murat anchor the family conflict that drives the drama. The story runs across two seasons of 71 episodes each, a single continuing melodrama rather than a case-of-the-week format. It belongs to the classic telenovela tradition, with heightened emotion, sweeping reversals and intense romantic longing. Its tone is melodramatic and tragic, foregrounding desire, sacrifice and the cost of love. Fans of Rosalinda and La usurpadora will find resonance in its blend of passionate romance, family rivalry and high-stakes emotional suffering. Viewers who enjoy sprawling romantic melodrama with a fatalistic edge will find it immersive.
