## Synopsis

The Time in Between (2013-2014) is a Spanish national-television period drama series created for Antena 3 and produced with Boomerang TV and Atresmedia. Spanish dressmaker Sira Quiroga (Alba Flores) begins as a young woman engaged to a steady suitor until a charming typewriter salesman upends her life. Across one eleven-episode season, she gains and loses a small fortune, is abandoned by a cad of a lover in Morocco, runs guns to rebuild her finances, and eventually becomes couturier to the Nazi wives stationed in Madrid. Her friend, the real-life British spy Rosalinda Fox, pulls her deeper into covert work for the British cause. Set against the Spanish civil war's aftermath and the Francoist regime's growing alliances with Nazi Germany, the series mixes romance, fashion, and espionage in a richly dressed, tense atmosphere. Inspector Palomares (David V. Muro) and other principal characters add pressure from the authorities. Fans of The Crown, Allied, and Downton Abbey will find resonance in its lush costumes, wartime intrigue, and a determined heroine forging a new life. Its 80-minute episodes make it a sweeping, character-driven limited series.
