## Synopsis

Señora Acero (2014-2019) is a Mexican telenovela crime series created by Roberto Stopello for Telemundo. Carolina Miranda plays Vicenta Acero, a feared coyote who rises from smuggler to leader of the illicit dynasty once controlled by her father, Salvador Acero (Michel Duval). Her ambitions collide with rivals and allies, including Erick "El Gallo" Quintanilla (Oscar Priego), a volatile figure whose loyalties shift as the empire's dealings expand. Blanca Soto plays Sara Aguilar, adding another knot of rivalry and romance to the power struggle. The engine of the show is a woman trying to hold a dangerous family business together while enemies circle, with each episode built from deals, betrayals, confrontations and romantic entanglements. Told across five seasons and roughly 395 episodes, it is a sprawling serialized saga rather than a case-of-the-week format. Its tone is operatic and melodramatic, with heightened emotion, sudden reversals and a glossy, high-stakes atmosphere. Fans of Queen of the South, Narcos and Ana de Nadie will find resonance in its portrait of drug trafficking, loyalty and the price of power.
