## Synopsis

Kaçak (2013-2015) is a Turkish crime drama series created by Zülküf Yücel for atv, running two seasons and 52 episodes of roughly 100 minutes each. Gürkan Uygun plays Serhat Hakeri, an ex-cop who once worked undercover for a mafia family and is now a fugitive after killing the mafia boss's son. Berk Hakman plays Ertan Demir, and Begüm Birgören plays Merve Topçuoglu, the mafia daughter whom Serhat uses as a way out, and whose company he gradually comes to want against his will. Mustafa Avkıran plays İsmet Ali Topçuoğlu, the family patriarch whose vengeance hangs over every chase and standoff. The engine is simple and relentless: a hunted man must stay one step ahead of killers while living in the enemy's household, and each episode is built from hideouts, double-crosses, and tense confrontations. Set in the contemporary Turkish underworld, the story moves through a world of criminal clans, loyalties and betrayals. The tone is intense and brooding, with a steady undercurrent of romance and dread. Viewers who enjoy Prison Break, Romeo Is Bleeding and Behzat Ç. will find resonance in its blend of fugitive suspense and mafia melodrama.
