## Synopsis

One-Punch Man (2015-present) is a Japanese animated superhero parody series created by ONE and produced by Madhouse, with later seasons from J.C.STAFF. The protagonist Saitama (voiced by Makoto Furukawa) is a hero so powerful after years of training that he defeats every monster with a single punch, leaving him bored and his passion for heroism drained. His cyborg disciple Genos (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) and a shifting cast of rival heroes such as King (voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto) and Silverfang (voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji) join him as he navigates a city where a hero association ranks its members and monsters arrive without warning. Each episode is built around a new threat and an escalating fight that the show milks for absurd comedy. The tone is deadpan and irreverent, with sincere moments of camaraderie underneath the satire of heroic bureaucracy. Across three seasons it stays a loose, episodic adventure of spectacular animation and gleefully over-the-top violence. Fans of Mob Psycho 100, Invincible and The Boys will find resonance in its blend of anime action and superhero deconstruction.
