## Synopsis

EXO Next Door (2015) is a South Korean web-broadcast romantic comedy miniseries created for NAVER TV and produced by Oh!Boy Project. Across sixteen short episodes of about fifteen minutes each, the story follows Ji Yeon-hee (Mun Ka-young), an extremely shy twenty-three-year-old who blushes at the mere presence of someone she likes. When four members of the boy band EXO, among them Chanyeol, D.O, Baekhyun and Sehun, move in next door to lie low, she is hired to clean their house during winter break. Her flustered efforts to keep her composure become the engine of each episode, as she discovers that Chanyeol is her childhood friend and first crush, and as a love triangle with Chanyeol and D.O takes shape around her ordinary days. Jang Yoo-sang and Kim Hee-jung add warm family comedy as her relatives. The tone stays bright, breezy and sweetly embarrassing, with easy, cozy comedy and a light romantic pull. The miniseries is a single continuous story set in contemporary Seoul, offering the giddy, uncomplicated charm of idol romance. Fans of Boys Over Flowers and Sassy Go Go will find resonance in its idol-tinged first love and playful romantic rivalry.
