## Synopsis

The Testament of Sister New Devil (2015) is a Japanese animated fantasy comedy series produced by Production IMS and aired on TOKYO MX, adapted from a light novel. High school student Basara Tojo (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura) suddenly finds himself living with two new step-sisters after his father leaves for overseas, only to learn that Mio Naruse (Ayaka Asai) is a demon lord and Maria Naruse (Kaori Fukuhara) is a succubus. An accidental reverse contract makes Basara Mio's master rather than her servant, and the series builds its episodes around the awkward household comedy that follows, with each situation tipping into ecchi territory. Mio's safety is the running thread, as demons and heroes keep pursuing her and pulling the household into fights. The series runs two seasons across twenty-two episodes, with supporting voices from Yuu Asakawa, Iori Nomizu and Sarah Emi Bridcutt. The tone stays playful and lightly romantic, with fan service on constant display, and it will appeal to viewers who enjoy harem comedies in the vein of High School DxD and Rosario + Vampire, or a demon-lord premise like The Devil Is a Part-Timer!.
