## Synopsis

Sneaky Pete (2015-2019) is an American crime drama series created by David Shore and Bryan Cranston for Prime Video. Giovanni Ribisi plays Marius Josipović, a con man who takes the identity of his prison cellmate Pete Murphy and reunites with Pete's estranged family. Margo Martindale plays Audrey Bernhardt, the matriarch whose household becomes his cover and his temptation, while Marin Ireland plays Julia Bowman, a figure whose life tangles with his. The engine of the series is a constant balancing act: the impostor must keep a scheme running while a vicious gangster hunts him, and every episode turns on a fresh lie, a new favor owed, or a family secret that threatens to expose him. The show runs three seasons of ten episodes each, a serialized story where the con deepens season by season. Its tone is deadpan and understated, with sudden bursts of menace and a warm, wary pull toward belonging. Set in present-day American cities and seedy criminal circles, it carries the grit of prestige cable crime fiction. Fans of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Justified will find resonance in its blend of dry humor, moral compromise and criminal stakes.
