## Synopsis

Historia de un clan (2015) is an Argentine true crime miniseries created by Luis Ortega. Following the Puccio family, it centers on patriarch Arquimides Puccio (Alejandro Awada) and his son Daniel 'Maguila' Puccio (Nazareno Casero), whose family turns their home into a hideout for kidnapping wealthy hostages. Epifania Calvo de Puccio (Cecilia Roth) and Alejandro Puccio (Chino Darín) add further pressure as the household struggles to keep its routines, loyalties and secrets intact while the captives remain inside. The engine of the series is the uneasy balance between domestic normality and criminal enterprise, as each episode tracks the logistics of holding hostages, the mounting risk of discovery and the family's shared rationalizations. Told across eleven hour-long episodes in a single limited season, the drama is grounded and tense, with a claustrophobic, morally unsettling atmosphere. Its blend of tight family drama and crime thriller is rooted in real events and will appeal to viewers of Breaking Bad, Carlos and Narcos. Fans of gripping true crime dramatizations will find it a compelling watch.
