## Synopsis

Remember: War of the Son (2015-2016) is a South Korean legal mystery miniseries created for SBS, a single season of twenty hour-long episodes. Yoo Seung-ho plays Seo Jin-Woo, a brilliant lawyer whose hyperthymetic memory lets him recall nearly everything he has ever seen, and who stakes his career and future on saving his father. Park Min-young co-stars as Lee In-A, a figure tied to the family's struggle, while Park Sung-woong, Namkoong Min and Jung Hye-sung anchor the powerful families and corporate rivals whose tangled interests stand in his way. The engine of the series is a race to uncover evidence buried by wealthy interests, with each stretch of episodes building toward courtroom confrontations, shifting alliances and hidden crimes. Its shape is a single continuing storyline rather than standalone cases, though the middle stretch drifts into side cases before returning to the central plot. The tone is suspenseful and melodramatic, with romance and revenge running beneath the investigation and a steady sense of injustice. Set in present-day Seoul, it belongs to the chaebol-driven Korean television tradition of prestige melodrama. Fans of Suits, Vincenzo and Breaking Bad will find resonance in its blend of legal maneuvering, family stakes and moral pressure.
