## Synopsis

The Lion Guard (2016-2019) is an American animated kids spinoff series created by Ford Riley for Disney Junior and Disney Channel. Set in the Pride Lands of the Lion King world, it follows young Kion (voiced by Max Charles), Simba's son, who gathers a team of animal friends into the Lion Guard to defend the savanna. Bunga (Joshua Rush), Ono (Atticus Shaffer), Beshte (Dusan Brown) and Fuli (Diamond White) each bring a distinct skill to the group, and Simba (Rob Lowe) appears in a handful of episodes as the guiding king. Each roughly 23-minute episode is largely self-contained, built around a problem in the savanna that the team must solve through teamwork, cooperation and a clear moral lesson. The overall run spans three seasons and 75 episodes, with a steady mix of musical numbers and gentle adventure. The tone is warm, bright and reassuring, emphasizing loyalty, responsibility and friendship. Fans of The Lion King, Timon and Pumbaa and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir will find the same family-friendly animal adventure appeal.
