## Synopsis

I Know Who You Are (2017) is a Spanish crime drama series created by Pau Freixas for Telecinco. Lawyer Juan Elías (Francesc Garrido) wakes up after a car accident with amnesia and must piece together the events that led to the crash, relying on his wife Alicia Castro (Blanca Portillo) to fill in the gaps. Their story draws in family members and associates, including Eva Durán (Aida Folch), David Vila (Carles Francino) and Ricardo Heredia (Antonio Dechent), as old secrets and suspicions surface around the crash. The engine of the series is a single self-contained arc of memory and doubt: every revelation about the past reshapes the present marriage, and the couple must decide how much to trust what they are told. Told across sixteen episodes of roughly seventy minutes each, the single season reads as one continuing mystery rather than a case-of-the-week format, making it a limited series with a steady pace. Its tone is intimate and suspenseful, with a melancholic undercurrent of love tested and renewed. Fans of The Night Of, The Affair and Money Heist will find resonance in its layered secrets, domestic stakes and Spanish prestige drama sensibility, set in contemporary Spain.
