## Synopsis

Bunnicula (2016-2018) is an American animated family comedy series created by Jessica Borutski and Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network, adapted from the children's book series. Chris Kattan voices the titular Bunnicula, a vampire rabbit who sustains himself on carrots rather than blood and gains remarkable powers from them. He lives with his owner Mina, voiced by Kari Wahlgren, along with the household pets Chester the cat (Sean Astin) and Harold the dog (Brian Kimmet). Each short episode follows the animals as they stumble into spooky mysteries and monster-tinged escapades around the house and neighborhood, with Chester's suspicion of the rabbit and Harold's loyal good nature driving the comic friction. The series plays its gothic horror conventions for gentle laughs, creating a cozy, playful atmosphere that keeps the vampire mythology light enough for young viewers. Its three seasons and roughly one hundred and four eleven-minute episodes make it a breezy, easy-to-follow watch. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, The Addams Family and The Secret Life of Pets will find resonance in its blend of monster lore, pet comedy and family warmth.
