## Synopsis

Intersection (2016) is a Turkish romantic drama series created by Ömer Faruk Sorak and broadcast on FOX. Belçim Bilgin plays Naz Özer, a paediatrician who loses a baby during pregnancy and refuses to go through that heartbreak again, even as her husband Umut Özer (Alican Yücesoy) hopes for another child. Her carefully ordered life is upended during a conference trip to Italy, where she meets Ali Nejat Karasu (İbrahim Çelikkol), a man whose own history complicates the pull between them. The engine of the story is the tension between duty to a failing marriage and an unexpected attraction, played out across domestic scenes, hospital corridors and the emotional aftermath of loss. Supporting characters including Serdar Yeğin as Mert, Naz Elmas as Didem and Rojda Demirer as Neslihan widen the circle of friends, colleagues and family whose loyalties are tested. The series runs across two seasons totalling thirty-one episodes, told as one continuing romantic story rather than a case-of-the-week format. Its tone is melancholic and sincere, with a wistful, intimate atmosphere that rewards patient viewing. Fans of Kara Sevda and Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? will find resonance in its blend of Turkish melodrama, grief and a love story that resists easy answers.
