## Synopsis

Letterkenny (2016-2023) is a Canadian national-television small town sitcom created by Jared Keeso for Crave. Jared Keeso plays Wayne, a good-natured country boy in Letterkenny, Ontario, who tries to protect his homegrown farm life while the world changes around him. Nathan Dales plays his sidekick Daryl, and Michelle Mylett plays Katy, while Lisa Codrington, Dan Petronijevic and Evan Stern fill out the rural ensemble. The engine of the show is the constant rivalry between the town's three groups, the Hicks, the Skids and the Hockey Players, whose petty feuds over trivial matters usually end in fistfights. Each episode is built from long, looping conversations, deadpan one-liners and absurd detours rather than a central plot. The run spans twelve seasons of self-contained comic episodes with recurring characters, so it plays as a long running ensemble rather than a serialized saga. Its tone is crude, irreverent and affectionate, with a cozy hometown warmth beneath the profanity. Fans of Trailer Park Boys, Corner Gas and Schitt's Creek will find a similar resonance in its rural absurdity and quotable dialogue.
