## Synopsis

Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle (2016) is a Japanese anime series produced by Lerche, Lantis and Orange and aired on AT-X, adapted from a light novel. The story follows Lux, a former prince of the overthrown empire of Arcadia, who accidentally stumbles into a female dormitory bath and draws the wrath of the new princess Lisesharte, who challenges him to a Drag-Ride duel. Drag-Rides are ancient armored mechanical weapons excavated from ruins around the world, and Lux has earned the nickname the undefeated weakest Drag-Knight because he will not strike in battle. The engine of the twelve-episode season is his stubborn refusal to fight pitted against a steady stream of duels, rivalries and romantic pursuits as he is enrolled in the all-female academy that trains royals to pilot these machines. Voiced by Mutsumi Tamura as Lux and Lynn as Lisesharte, the cast keeps the tone breezy and playful, with fanservice-tinged comedy sitting beside light mecha action. Fans of Infinite Stratos, Chivalry of a Failed Knight and Symphogear will find a similar blend of academy romance and armored combat.
