## Synopsis

My Hero Academia (2016-2025) is a Japanese animated shonen superhero series produced by BONES and based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi, broadcast on Nippon TV and other stations. Izuku Midoriya (voiced by Daiki Yamashita), a boy born without a superpower in a society where most people have a quirk, enrolls in an elite hero academy and works toward becoming a hero. His rivals and allies include Katsuki Bakugo (Nobuhiko Okamoto), Shoto Todoroki (Yuki Kaji) and Tenya Iida (Kaito Ishikawa), with All Might (Kenta Miyake) as his mentor. The engine of the series is relentless training, school competitions, and street battles against villains, and each season builds toward larger tournaments and conflicts. Across eight seasons the show moves from classroom drills to a sweeping, continuing battle for the future of its world. Set in a modern city with a superhero culture, it balances loud action with humor and warm friendship. Fans of One Punch Man, Jujutsu Kaisen and Hunter x Hunter will find resonance in its blend of spectacle, heart and optimism.
