## Synopsis

Bungo Stray Dogs (2016-2023) is a Japanese animated supernatural action mystery series produced by BONES and broadcast on TOKYO MX, adapted from the manga and rated TV-14. Its story follows Atsushi Nakajima, a destitute young man who discovers that a beastly white tiger stalking him is in fact a power living inside him. The Armed Detective Agency recruits him, and he is mentored by the eccentric Osamu Dazai (Mamoru Miyano), a member with a playful manner and hidden depths. Alongside Kyouka Izumi (Sumire Morohoshi) and Odasaku Oda (Junichi Suwabe), Atsushi takes on crimes that are tangled with mafia rivalries and conspiracies. Each case unfolds in a town of gunfights and inhuman abilities, while rival ability users circle the tiger's large bounty. The series is built around episodic cases that feed a larger connected plot across its sixty episodes. Its tone blends brisk action, dark mystery and quirky banter, with characters named after famous authors. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gintama and Death Note will find resonance in its mix of supernatural powers, eccentric personalities and sharp detective intrigue.
