## Synopsis

You Me Her (2016-2020) is a Canadian-American indie romantic comedy created by John Scott Shepherd for Audience. Greg Poehler plays architect Jack Trakarsky opposite Rachel Blanchard as his wife Emma, a suburban married couple whose lives change when they start a romance with Izzy Silva, played by Priscilla Faia. Ennis Esmer and Jennifer Spence round out the principal cast as Dave and Carmen Amari, a couple whose friendship with the Trakarskys adds further complications. The engine of the series is the everyday negotiation of a three-way relationship in Portland, Oregon: jealousy, honest conversations, household logistics, and the question of whether an unconventional arrangement can survive ordinary life. Each episode of this five-season run plays out as a half hour of candid dialogue and situational comedy, with the emotional stakes building steadily across the seasons. The tone is warm, frank and wry, grounded in relatable people rather than glamour. Fans of Girls, Transparent and Catastrophe will find resonance in its candid, character-driven take on modern adult relationships.
