## Synopsis

Vanished 46 is a Turkish scripted science fiction mystery series that follows a genetics professor who experiments with a treatment for his comatose sister. The treatment mixes laboratory medicine with shamanic healing rites, and his hope to wake her soon gives way to an unexpected and disturbing consequence. As the fallout spreads, the professor and the people around him are drawn into a widening web of secrets, moral compromises and escalating danger. The story is self-contained and told in a single run of episodes, with each installment tightening the mystery and deepening the cost of the procedure. Its tone is dark, tense and paranoid, with a grim, unsettling atmosphere that leans into body horror and the uneasy meeting of science and folk belief. Set in contemporary Turkey, it gives the familiar mad scientist premise a distinctly local flavor. Viewers drawn to scientific unease, family devotion and creeping conspiracy will find much to hold their attention here, though the material is best suited to adults comfortable with grim subject matter.
