## Synopsis

Twin Star Exorcists (2016-2017) is a Japanese animated shounen anime series created by production studio Pierrot and broadcast across TV Tokyo and affiliated stations. Rokuro Enmadou is a reluctant member of an exorcist family who would rather sing or play soccer than hunt demons, until the arrival of the fierce Benio Adashino stirs his competitive spirit. Their rivalry is complicated by a prophecy naming them the Twin Star Exorcists, two supreme fighters destined to marry and produce the ultimate spiritual warrior. Each episode moves through demon hunts and comedic bickering in present-day Japan, with supporting exorcists joining the battles. The single 50-episode season balances lively action set pieces with romantic tension and light humor. Its tone is energetic and comedic, with moments of spiritual menace. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, Darker than Black and Natsume's Book of Friends will find resonance here in its blend of onmyoji exorcism, shounen battles and rivalry romance.
