## Synopsis

Soy Luna (2016-2018) is an Argentine teen telenovela series created by Jorge Edelstein for Disney Channel. Skating enthusiast Luna Valente (Karol Sevilla) moves with her family from Cancún to Buenos Aires after her parents accept a job offer, and she must rebuild her life from scratch. She discovers the Jam & Roller skating rink, learns freestyle, and gathers a circle of new friends and rivals, while her romantic feelings tangle with the pull of her new social world. Principal players include Ruggero Pasquarelli as Matteo Balsano and Valentina Zenere as Ámbar Smith. Across three seasons and 220 episodes, the show runs as a continuing soap-style story built on romantic triangles, friendship rivalries and performance ambitions at the rink. Its bright, sincere, breezy register is rooted in Argentine production traditions and the telenovela form, with light comedic beats and a wholesome, aspirational energy. Fans of Violetta, Rebelde and Hannah Montana will find a similar blend of youthful romance, music and friendship drama in a colorful, family-friendly package.
