## Synopsis

Uncontrollably Fond (2016) is a South Korean romance drama series created by Lee Kyoung-hee for KBS2, a korean melodrama built around a rekindled love. Shin Joon-young (Kim Woo-bin), a top actor, and No-eul (Suzy), a documentary producer, meet again years after a painful breakup that still stings both of them. Their reunion pulls them back into a relationship shaped by old wounds, public attention and the quiet pressures of their careers, while a serious illness casts a long shadow over the time they have together. The engine of the story is the question of whether two people who once hurt each other can trust a second chance, and how much they are willing to risk when the future feels uncertain. Each episode unfolds through intimate conversations, workplace tensions in the entertainment and documentary worlds, and flashbacks to the earlier romance that explain why they parted. The series spans a single twenty-episode run, moving at a patient pace that gives room for tenderness. Its tone is wistful, tearful and heartfelt, with a winter palette of snow and cold streets underscoring the emotional thaw. Viewers who enjoy Crash Landing on You, Descendants of the Sun and Our Beloved Summer will find the same blend of melodrama, longing and star crossed devotion.
