## Synopsis

The Three Sides of Ana (2016-2017) is a Mexican telenovela created by Juan Carlos Alcalá for Univision and Las Estrellas, produced by Televisa. Triplets Ana Laura, Ana Leticia and Ana Lucía are played by Angelique Boyer, who carries all three roles. After a road trip accident by a river kills their parents, Ana Laura loses a leg and Ana Lucía is swept away, presumed dead. Soledad, a grieving woman, takes in the unconscious girl and lets her believe she is her mother. Her grandmother Ernestina (Susana Dosamantes) and uncle Ramiro (David Zepeda) refuse to abandon the search, while Marcelo (Sebastián Rulli) is drawn into the tangled emotional web. The engine of the series is the long, patient hunt for a missing sister and the moral pull of a stolen identity, told through confrontations, secret visits and family intrigue. It is a single 123-episode season of classic soap structure, built on romance, separation and reunion. The tone is melodramatic, emotional and tender, with grief and longing always close to the surface. Fans of Cuando seas mía, La usurpadora and Rosalinda will find resonance in its twin-identity storylines and sweeping Mexican melodrama.
