## Synopsis

LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures (2016-2017) is an American computer animated family comedy series created by Bill Motz and Bob Roth for Disney XD. Young Rowan Freemaker (voiced by Nicolas Cantu), his sister Kordi (Vanessa Lengies) and their brother Zander (Eugene Byrd) make their living salvaging parts from destroyed starships and building new vessels to sell. Their salvaged battle droid Roger (Matthew Wood) keeps them company through each mission. The engine of the show is simple and scrappy: the siblings hustle for parts, dodge trouble with bounty hunters and crime lords, and turn each junk heap into a deal. Across two seasons of twenty-six episodes, the stories are mostly self-contained case-of-the-week adventures with light continuity. Set in a brick built galaxy between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, it has a playful, cozy, lighthearted register with plenty of slapstick. Fans of Star Wars Rebels and The Lego Movie will find resonance in its humor and sibling warmth.
