## Synopsis

Son of Zorn (2016-2017) is a American adult animated sitcom created by Eli Jorné and Reed Agnew for FOX. Zorn, an animated warrior voiced by Jason Sudeikis, returns to suburban Orange County, California, determined to win back his live-action ex-wife Edie, played by Cheryl Hines, and their teenage son Alan, played by Johnny Pemberton's character Alangulon in the ensemble. Tim Meadows plays Craig, a live-action neighbor whose ordinary life collides with Zorn's cartoon world. The engine of the show is simple: Zorn's grand, misguided gestures to reclaim his family keep colliding with the mundane realities of school, work, and dating in a cul-de-sac full of quirks. Each thirteen-episode season delivers standalone escapades built around family embarrassment and clumsy reconciliation attempts. Its blend of live action and animation gives the comedy a jarring, self-aware edge, with cringe humor and absurd suburban satire. Fans of Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, and American Dad will find resonance in its irreverent domestic chaos and its willingness to push a family premise into the surreal. The single season was canceled, leaving the premise open-ended.
