## Synopsis

Below Deck Mediterranean (2016-present) is an American reality television series created by Mark Cronin for Bravo, and a spin-off of the Below Deck franchise. Each season follows the crew of a 150-foot mega-yacht as it runs a charter through the Mediterranean, with the deckhands, stewards and chefs working under a demanding captain. Sandy Yawn is the central figure among the regular cast, and the crew members who appear across the seasons include Adam Glick, Ben Robinson, Hinrigo Lorran and Natasha Webb. The engine of each season is concrete and relentless: crew must deliver flawless service to wealthy, exacting guests, prepare meals and turn cabins around on tight schedules, while personal rivalries and romantic triangles simmer in the tight quarters below deck. The show runs for eleven seasons with a case-of-the-week rhythm, each charter a self-contained arc of guests and crises that builds into a longer season-long story of crew relationships. Its tone is breezy and gossipy, with flashes of tension when someone crosses a line with a guest. The setting is a glamorous Mediterranean summer, with harbours and island stops framing the cramped working life aboard. Fans of Below Deck, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Hotel Hell will find the same mix of service pressure and interpersonal drama.
