## Synopsis

91 Days (2016) is a Japanese animated crime drama series created by Taku Kishimoto for TBS, produced by Shuka and Graphinica. Set in Lawless, a fictional American town during Prohibition, the story follows Avilio, who returns after years away to chase a lead on the murder of his family. Voice actors Takashi Kondo as Avirio and Takuya Eguchi as Nero anchor the cast, joined by Takahiro Sakurai as Balbero and Soma Saito as Corteo. The engine is simple and driven: Avilio wants revenge, and every step toward the killers pulls him deeper into a rival mob's black market liquor trade, where loyalties shift and friendships are tested. The series runs as one continuous story across a single twelve-episode season, with each episode tightening the net around the truth. Its tone is brooding and tense, with gunfights, betrayal, and a melancholic sense of tragedy beneath the glossy 1920s styling. Fans of Peaky Blinders and Baccano! will find resonance in its bootlegging underworld and stylized violence, and viewers who enjoy Golden Kamuy will appreciate its intense male relationships.
