## Synopsis

Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race (2015-2016) is a Canadian-American animated comedy series created by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis for Cartoon Network. Set in a present-day world of exotic global destinations, it follows eighteen teams of quirky animated contestants as they travel to twenty-six locations in pursuit of a million-dollar prize under a new host. The engine of each episode is the race itself: teams must complete outlandish challenges, form and break alliances, and be eliminated one by one until a single team remains standing. Voiced by a cast including Nicki Burke as Stephany and Tammy, Stephanie Mills as Kitty, and Emilie-Claire Barlow as Ellody and Laurie, the characters bring exaggerated personalities to each round. The single season of twenty-six episodes, each about twenty-one minutes long, builds its jokes around the conventions of reality competition shows. The tone is brisk, playful, and cheerfully chaotic, with a parodic edge aimed at a young audience. Fans of Total Drama Island, Teen Titans Go!, and The Amazing World of Gumball will find a similar blend of animated slapstick and competitive absurdity.
