## Synopsis

Cinderella and Four Knights (2016) is a South Korean tvN romantic comedy series created by Kwon Hyuk-chan and Lee Min-woo, a one-season run of sixteen hour-long episodes adapted from a manhwa. Spunky Eun Ha-won (Park So-dam) is hired to live with the three immature grandsons of a wealthy gentleman and whip them into shape, and the household becomes a crucible of bickering, rivalry and slowly growing affection. Jung Il-woo plays Kang Ji-Woon and Han Ji-Woon, one of the grandsons at the center of the romantic tangle, while Ahn Jae-hyun, Lee Jung-shin, Kim Hye-ri and Choi Eun-kyeong fill out the surrounding circle of rivals, relatives and admirers. The engine of the show is a cohabitation premise: each episode stages the friction of a young woman navigating a chaebol family's privilege, pride and petty schemes while the boys slowly learn to see her as more than a hired tutor. Its shape is a single continuing romance rather than a case-of-the-week format, moving through a love triangle and a set of forbidden-love complications. Set in contemporary Seoul among the wealthy, it carries a light, breezy and cozy register, with a sincere, warm tone. Fans of Full House, Boys Over Flowers and Hotel del Luna will find resonance in its comedy, romance and class-crossing household dynamics.
