## Synopsis

APB is an American network crime drama created for FOX. Billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves witnesses the murder of his best friend and, driven by grief and a fortune of his own, takes control of Chicago's troubled 13th District, turning a demoralized police precinct into a technically innovative force. Officers Theresa Murphy and Ada Hamilton are among those he must win over, while veteran Ned Conrad embodies the old way of policing that resists his methods. Each hour is built around a case of the week, with street crime, gang activity and corrupt pressure pushing against the district's new high-tech tools. The show runs a single season, with a serialized thread of Reeves's personal quest beneath the procedural cases. Its tone is sleek and propulsive, mixing gritty urban grime with futuristic gadgetry and a sense of rogue justice. Fans of Person of Interest and Chicago P.D. will find resonance in its blend of tech-driven investigation and street-level police drama. The series was canceled with its story unfinished, leaving its central arc open.
