## Synopsis

D.Gray-man Hallow (2016) is a Japanese animated shonen action fantasy series produced by TMS Entertainment and broadcast on TV Osaka, TV Aichi and TV Tokyo. Its protagonist, the young exorcist Allen Walker (voiced by Ayumu Murase), serves the Black Order, a secretive organization dedicated to protecting humanity from the Millennium Earl and his deadly Akuma. Alongside fellow exorcists such as Yuu Kanda (voiced by Takuya Sato) and Lenalee Lee (voiced by Ai Kakuma), Allen is pulled into missions to recover lost Innocence, sacred relics whose power the Earl's forces want for themselves. Each episode is built around tense battles against monstrous creatures and the grim toll of a war fought in the shadows. The single 13-episode season is a serialized, self-contained arc of the larger franchise, with a mood that blends brooding dread and kinetic action. Its steampunk-flavored visuals and supernatural menace recall fans of Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer, and of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for its quest-driven shonen energy. The series is a comparatively brief entry, suited to viewers who want an action-heavy supernatural adventure with a dark edge.
