## Synopsis

Legion (2017-2019) is an American FX science fiction superhero series created by Noah Hawley and produced under the Marvel Television banner, running three seasons and 27 episodes. Dan Stevens plays David Haller, a troubled young man in and out of psychiatric hospitals after a schizophrenia diagnosis, who begins to suspect that the voices and visions he has known all his life are the signs of a mutant power. Rachel Keller plays Sydney Barrett, a fellow patient whose connection to David drives much of the story, while Aubrey Plaza plays Lenny Busker, an unpredictable presence who complicates his search for the truth. Each season builds a sprawling, shifting mythology around David's fractured mind, moving between hospital wards, memory, and fevered inner landscapes where the line between reality and delusion keeps dissolving. Mind-bending and stylized, the series trades conventional superhero spectacle for dreamlike disorientation, unsettling psychological dread, and a pervasive sense of identity under siege. Its episodes are richly layered and demand close attention. Fans of Twin Peaks, Mr. Robot and Fargo will find resonance in its unreliable perception, experimental visual craft, and off-kilter tone. The show's FX production and Hawley's authorial voice give it a distinctive, adult-oriented feel.
