## Synopsis

Chesapeake Shores (2016-2022) is a US Hallmark Channel family drama created by John Tinker. Abby O'Brien-Winters (Meghan Ory), a divorced mother, moves back to her hometown with her twin daughters and soon finds herself tangled in an old romance with Evan Kincaid (Robert Buckley). Her sister Jess (Laci J. Mailey) and the rest of the sprawling O'Brien clan, including matriarch Megan (Barbara Niven) and patriarch Mick (Treat Williams), provide a steady stream of family complications. The engine of the series is the push and pull between rebuilding a life and reopening old wounds, played out through weddings, business dealings, and the everyday crises of a large household. Across six seasons and fifty-five episodes, each installment is a self-contained stretch of family and romantic entanglement that builds into a longer arc of belonging. Set in a waterfront small town on the Chesapeake Bay, the show carries a warm, cozy atmosphere with a wistful undercurrent about second chances and home. Its tone is gentle and sentimental, and it will appeal to viewers who enjoy hometown romance in the vein of Gilmore Girls and Everwood.
