## Synopsis

Shopaholic Louis (2016) is a South Korean romantic comedy drama series created by Kim Sang-ho for MBC. Seo In-guk plays Louie, a wealthy chaebol heir who has lost his memory, and Nam Ji-hyun plays Ko Bok-Shil, a warm-hearted woman whose sincerity cuts through his privileged, spending-driven world. Supporting roles are filled by Yoon Sang-hyun as Cha Joong-Won, Im Se-mi as Baek Ma-Ri, and Kim Yeong-ok as Choi Il-Soon, whose presence keeps the family orbit busy around the couple. The engine of the series is the slow, comic unlearning of a privileged man's habits as he falls for a woman who sees him as a person rather than a fortune. Each episode is built from shopping sprees, fashion showdowns, family pressure and misunderstandings that push the central romance forward across sixteen episodes. Shaped as a single complete run of one season, it moves through the glossy boutiques and polished homes of Seoul's elite. The tone is light, warm and wistful, with breezy comedy giving way to sincere romantic beats. Fans of Boys Over Flowers, Full House and Crash Landing on You will find the same class-crossing sweetness and affectionate melodrama here.
