## Synopsis

A Girl & Three Sweethearts (2016) is a Japanese romance drama series created for Fuji TV, a single-season run of ten 45-minute episodes. Mirei Kiritani plays Sakurai Misaki, a pâtissier who has not dated in a long time and is working toward owning her own pastry business. After she is fired from her job, she reconnects with her high school first love, Chiaki Shibasaki (Shohei Miura), and takes a part-time post at his restaurant, where she ends up living upstairs. Under the same roof are Chiaki's younger brothers, Kanata (Kento Yamazaki) and Touma (Shuhei Nomura), and the household's daily rhythms of kitchen work, shared meals, and quiet awkwardness drive the story. Each episode moves through small workplace frictions and tender moments as Misaki weighs old feelings against new ones. The atmosphere is warm, gentle, and wistful, with a summer tone and an emphasis on food and emotional restraint. Viewers who enjoy Kiss Me Licensed and Itazura na Kiss will find a similar mix of domestic romance and lighthearted yearning. The series is a self-contained romance with a clear arc and no sprawling mythology, suited to a relaxed, character-led viewing experience.
