## Synopsis

People Just Do Nothing (2014-2018) is a British mockumentary comedy series created by Allan Mustafa, Hugo Chegwin and Asim Chaudhry for BBC Three. It follows the crew of Kurupt FM, a pirate radio station in West London that plays UK garage and drum and bass to a following of barely a hundred listeners. Allan Mustafa plays Grindah, Hugo Chegwin plays Beats, and Asim Chaudhry plays Chabuddy G, each jostling for prestige while the station struggles to stay on air from a cramped flat. The engine of the show is the gap between their self-image and reality: a visiting BBC documentary crew is filming them as though they were a major broadcaster, and every episode turns on the small hustles, rivalries and misfired plans needed to keep the broadcast going.
